Building Bridges Nomination Form
Nominate for as many awards as you like – just submit a separate form for each nomination. Qualifications: Nominees must live or do business in Southern Arizona. Award winners from previous years are ineligible.
Employee of the Year
Honors an individual who self-identifies with having a disability, works in competitive, integrated employment, has been with current employer for 18+ months, demonstrates being an excellent employee by going above and beyond job duties, has a desire for career advancement and would benefit from a scholarship. Award recipient receives a $1,500 Career Advancement Scholarship (has 1 year to use the scholarship).
Employer of the Year
Honors the employer who continuously exemplifies being a leading employer in the community by striving to have an inclusive work culture. This employer must have a proven track record of hiring qualified individuals with disabilities in competitive, integrated employment. (Organizations that provide employment services to people with disabilities do not qualify.)
Employment Specialist of the Year
Honors a staff person (sorry, no teams) from an organization who goes above and beyond her/his job duties to help people with disabilities gain competitive employment and encourages jobseekers to advocate for themselves.
